ABOUT NONA ENTERTAINMENT

Nona is an artist entertainment company based in Los Angeles and founded by DJ Michelle Pesce who has 2 decades in the 
music industry.  We enjoy working intimately with our clients and artists to craft the perfect musical vibe for a wide range of
events.  Our talent is respected and our clients are top tier.  We aim to “make it happen” with whatever audience, production
details and budget our clients are working with…and “make it happen” WELL.
 
POSSIBLE DUTIES: 

  • Handling emails and transcribing (MUST be fast and proficient with grammar, spelling and Gmail)
  • Creating one sheet detailed itineraries for DJ’s
  • Running errands
  • Managing Social Media
  • Scheduling meetings and interfacing with clients
  • Music Research
  • Managing travel arrangements and expenses
  • Creating, editing and filing invoices, contracts and documents
  • Assisting with special projects when requested
  • Coordinate and attend live events

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Upbeat/positive energy
  • Has the drive to figure things out and doesn’t take ‘no’ for an answer
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Requires excellent grammar and spelling, strong organizational abilities and good follow through
  • Flexible with last minute work needs
  • Lives within a 20-minute drive of mid-city Los Angeles
  • Up to date on current trends and music
  • Active in the nightlife and events scene
  • Able to quickly connect the dots and be pro-active
  • Competent in social media posting, with an eye for digital trend movements, and a strong and sassy online voice
  • Proficient in Google docs, Gmail and Calendar
  • Technologically savvy
  • Poised and professional when dealing with everyone from clients to DJ’s (including celebrities)
  • At least one year experience as an assistant preferably working with talent, talent booking, corporate clients, or within a creative agency
  • Must be able to handle sensitive and private information with discretion
  • Must have a car and a general knowledge of getting around L.A.
EXPERIENCE IN THE FOLLOWING IS A +:
  • Photography
  • Photo/Video/Music Editing
  • Flyer graphics
  • Talent booking/managing 
 
EXPECTED HOURS/DAYS EACH WEEK FOR POSITION:
12-20 hours per week to start with/ Days will likely be flexible and vary/ Definite room to grow

EXPECTED HOURLY RATE: 
$20/hour
